Ayriel Totten is one of Casa Shalom's two Missions Team Leaders. She grew up in Lansing, MI with her parents and three sisters. She loves animals, riding horses and drawing, and has recently taken up painting and photography.  She spent the last five and a half years in Lakeland, FL, nannying and participating in an intense discipleship program called Mission Florida, now known as Lead Institute. Her first missions trip was to Kenya, Africa, but soon after she found what really captured her heart, the children at Casa Shalom. She came to Guatemala three times before God called her to move there and be a part of what He is doing at Casa Shalom in 2014.  I am blessed beyond measure to be a part of this team and to be a part of the lives of these children of God. Along with photo and video work, Ayriel's primary responsibility is hosting the many missions teams that travel to Casa Shalom each work to serve the orphanage through various work and ministry projects.

Johnathan Hill moved from Cleveland, GA as assistant director of LEAD INstitute Georgia to Casa Shalom in July of 2014. He currently serves as one of our two Missions Team leaders while also leading the youth and children's ministry. John has a passion for Hispanic people and leadership training. John enjoys getting to spend time with the children, watching movies, playing soccer, and further challenging the students in their faith. Having one-on-one talks with the kids is one of his favorite ways to pass time!
